Christmas is the time for giving, and what better place to shop for gifts than at Melbourne’s fantastic markets. Shirt & Skirt Market at the Abbotsford Convent is a monthly market and the last one pre-Christmas is on Sunday 19 December from 10am-4pm.

In the lead-up to Christmas, bonus markets spring into action all over the place. Northcote Town Hall runs the Kris Kringle Night Market but it’s only on for two more Thursdays – December 9 and 16 from 5.30pm-10pm. The Suzuki Night Market at Queen Victoria Market runs on Wednesdays from 5.30pm–10pm until 2 March but be prepared for BIG crowds.
