NYC baby! Day 1

We arrived in the middle of the night so we found a cheap(ish) hotel with a 24 hour reception and slept till lunchtime. After a few false starts on the bus, we made it to our new pad in the Lower East Side. We stayed local and checked out some cool little shops and had our first real New York food experience – a cheeseburger and pastrami on rye. We also made it to Broadway (if you can make it there you’ll make it anywhere) where we induldged in some retail therapy. Did I mention we saw a massive Obey mural? This place is cool.

Something nice for your peepers

A great friend of ours has put some new artwork up for sale. Some beautiful photographs and illustrations. Check it out here.

It’s up to you, New york

Some of our team are off to New York today for a very well deserved break. I’m sure they will have an amazing time over there. Maybe some blogging from abroad might come your way this week?

This time in two weeks

I won’t be sitting at my computer wearing a jumper AND a hoody with the heater cranked up listening to the cars outside drive across rainy streets. Don’t get me wrong, I love Melbourne, but there are other places – sunny, warm places – that I can’t wait to escape to.

What happened to today?

Oh well, here’s my penance.

Three of my favourite Melbourne shops also have cool blogs. Updates can be patchy, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Melbourne Art Fair starts today…

We launched Stevan Jacks new website last week, just in time for the show. Click here to check out Stevan’s kick-ass new site.
