All going well, we’re Northcote-bound. Leases are being drawn up for our beautiful new graphic design studio in High Street Northcote and we’re getting very excited about having a blank canvas to work with. Our new space is likely to include quite a few Ikea solutions, but there’s also a world of funky furnishings we want to explore. I think Design*Sponge has inspired me to document the before and after.

Another day, another new piece of artwork for the peeps. Mammoth skulls and choppers, who doesn’t love them. I also love Movida Restaurant here in Melbourne, I don’t care that he lost on Master Chef, I’ll still eat there. I think his cornets looked good!

I am going to try my best to create a new piece of artwork each day. I’ve had these crazy vector illustrations on file for quite a while now, but never done anything with them… until now.

If only the twitter logo looked like this. Maybe then I would actually care what Wil Anderson has to say. Hang on a second, I just realised that I am living in the past (wasn’t that 4 weeks ago?). Anyone still follow the Melbourne Storm?
I think I need to watch the news more often.
We designed a set of four books for Australian Poetry Centre 2010 New Poets Series. Our design included solutions for the cover and internal pages.

Yep, that’s right. Some artwork from one of our awesome designers is in the June issue of Desktop Magazine. Pretty cool hey? Well, it’s a step in the right direction. As part of our day to day work, we encourage everyone in the studio to spend time on their own independent projects.
