What a wonderful Thursday traffic run into the city. It’s kind of hard to capture a good photo when you’re not crawling as usual.
What wonders could I find for you today… It was a toss up between a graffiti covered truck or some interesting text… Lets go with text.

John and Samantha knew it was time to rework the Blue Ribbon Gardenscapes image, but they needed some help. We moved the branding away from the literal “blue ribbon” representation toward a clean green logo which would appeal to residential and commercial clients as well as landscape designers. The new branding has been applied to business cards, letterhead and decals for the company truck.
Well, apparently if you sit in traffic for long enough you might even see… JESUS! I certainly sat there for long enough today!

In a desperate attempt to be productive in traffic, I thought I would try to bring you a series of interesting things taken with my phone.
Day one has gone pretty well, but let’s just see if I can keep this up. Excuse the poor quality, it’s the best my non “iphone” can do!
All you need in life is a coffee cup full of sweet dark chocolate and a Spanish donut to dip into it. The real fun comes when you finish all the donuts and have to drink the remainder. Oh yeah, that’s what I like.
it’s hard to imagine what it would be like without a little crazy in your coffee. onto my 3rd for the day and it’s still not enough. i need more. crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy…
he he
On the break over the long weekend we went to the NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) Melbourne’s big ass gallery for a fix of art. The show on at the moment is the Ron Mueck sculptures and it was totally cool and a little freaky. The thing that was a bit of a poo was that everyone was taking pictures of the art. This bugs me on several levels. First of all, if you love the artwork so much why not buy the book or a postcard? The photograph you take is not going to measure up to what a proper photographer would do. The second and possibly more important one is that taking a photo is very disruptive to everyone else trying to view the work, it seems like as soon as someone whips out a camera that everyone else instinctively gets out of the way. Hey maybe this is the sign i have become a cranky old dude.
