We are working hard at the moment to provide awesome websites for our customers. If you want a website that rocks, give us a call. The one I’m working on at the moment is so funky I wanted to make a post about it, but I should wait until it is done. The web is an exciting place at the moment, it really seems like we are able to push the creative element of a site whilst also maintaining user-friendly navigation.
I always wish I had more time. The days zoom by in a flash. We work on project after project and always I think “I wish I had more time…”
For example, below is a little project I have been working on in 3D product photography. I am almost there but I don’t have time to finish. The concept is to just quickly flash between two slightly diferent views of the same object.
One of our super-talented designers has been shortlisted for the cover design comp Desktop Magazine are running for their June 2010 ‘green/environmentally friendly’ issue. Yay!

Why do I photograph the things I photograph? Thanks for asking. A variety of reasons, but a lot of them link back to colour. Like why on such an ugly brown building did someone paint this one window frame straw yellow but not paint the others? My guess is it’s the toilet.
Food for thought. I have this feeling that the internet has destroyed my memory but reinforced my imagination. Do I need my memory? I seem to be able to function with out it. Wouldn’t it be cool if we all wore name tags? Hi, my name is Steve. Actually I’m pretty sure it isn’t, but I can’t remember what mine is right now. Oh well.

We’ve been super busy of late so it was nice to have today off work. Like many people in Melbourne, we have had a few storm-related issues to contend with, but we’ll be designing again tomorrow rain, hail or shine.
Phew, another big week in graphic design. But it’s Friday and it’s a long weekend, so we’re all happy. A few big projects on for next week, a new corporate identity, vehicle graphics, printed brochures and more general graphic design good times.
